The district board and the parliamentary group congratulated the new President of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Hanau-Gelnhausen-Schlüchtern, Mr Oliver Naumann, on taking office. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Quidde, Chief Executive Officer of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Maria Heider, Spokesperson of the Bündnis 90/Die Grünen district association, and her co-spokesperson Ahmet Cetiner, District Managing Director of the Grünen MKK, Mareike Forchheim, and Monika Nickel, Green Member of the Kreistag and the City Council of Hanau.
The bouquet of topics was diverse and the exchange inspiring. Together we talked about
– Cooperation on the urgent issue of energy security for the Main-Kinzig district
– The possibility of introducing a GreenBusiness Coach at the CCI
– Gender equality in companies
– Strengthen cooperation between schools and businesses to re-engage young people in apprenticeships and bring them closer to sustainability in business
President Naumann was pleased with our visit and also had a recommendation for us: “Ask your “customers”, i.e. voters, what they need and how you can help. Customer-friendliness always pays off!”
