District Board of the Green Main-Kinzig elects new head / Approach members

Anja Zeller and Thomas Gassen are the new spokespersons of the Green District Board Main-Kinzig. As part of their retreat, both were elected by the board members.

After the district board had almost completely repositioned itself in the last election, the members now met for their retreat meeting: "It was important for us to discuss the foundations of the Board's work and to define our priorities for the next two years," says Zeller and Gassen.

Anja Zeller is an experienced politician from Hanau, Thomas Gassen has been active in local politics in Großkrotzenburg for years: "We are taking this political experience, as well as our many years of work with the Greens, with us in order to actively face the major challenges of the coming years," Zeller and Gassen emphasise: “The Hanau district freedom, the next local elections and the shift to the right in parts of the district bring new tasks that we have to tackle together.”

We are pleased to take on this important and exciting role and to be the voice of our district association to the outside world. We will do our best to hear and adequately represent the concerns and needs of all local associations and members. Together, we can bring about positive change and achieve our green goals in the Main-Kinzig district. We would like to express our sincere thanks for the trust placed in us by the district board. We are going into our new role with great motivation and are looking forward to getting started now.”
