It was a historic federal delegates' conference that our delegates Barbara Schäfer and Matthias Dorka attended last weekend. Difficult decisions had to be made on atmospheric power plants, coal mining and weapons deliveries. The debates on Friday and Saturday went on until late in the evening. Annalena Baerboch, Roberthabeck, Ricarda Lang, Omid Nouripour and other members gave stirring and emotional speeches in which, in addition to the need for shady decisions, they also reaffirmed the solidarity of the Greens with the people of Ukraine and especially the women in Iran and Afghanistan.
It was the first federal delegates' conference since the onset of the coronavirus pandemic to take place. Insegsamt attended the event with 800 delegates and guests. In the margins of the debates and votes, and especially during the celebration on Saturday evening, there were many opportunities to exchange ideas and make contacts with delegates from other district associations.
