{"id":780,"date":"2021-11-26T17:45:00","date_gmt":"2021-11-26T16:45:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.alles-bleibt-anders.org\/?p=780"},"modified":"2021-12-09T17:49:29","modified_gmt":"2021-12-09T16:49:29","slug":"aenderungsantrag-zum-haushalt-machbarkeitsstudie-regionale-schlachtung","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gruene-mkk.de\/en\/aenderungsantrag-zum-haushalt-machbarkeitsstudie-regionale-schlachtung\/","title":{"rendered":"Amendment to the budget: Feasibility study regional slaughtering"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The district council shall decide:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 For the financial year 2022, the district council decides to commission a feasibility study for the maintenance or construction of a joint slaughterhouse with the eco-model region Main-Kinzig and Wetteraukreis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 To prepare a feasibility study, funds of 50,000 euros will be put into the budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Regional Slaughter Round Table shall be convened as soon as possible and at the latest in Q2\/2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 After six months, the results of the Round Table will be the subject of an interim report in the Committee on Economic Affairs, Energy, Transport, the Environment and Agriculture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Explanatory memorandum:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the closure of the slaughterhouse in B\u00fcdingen, a central slaughterhouse for the butchers and direct marketers from the Main-Kinzig district has disappeared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result, the transport routes of slaughter animals increase enormously and the possibility of unloading during animal transport checks, for example after checks on the motorway, is completely eliminated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By conducting a feasibility study, the potential for a regional slaughterhouse is to be explored. Among other things, it is to be examined under which measures, possibly to be created, a regional slaughterhouse can be operated economically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The district council laid the foundations for this with the establishment of a round table on regional slaughter (KOA_AG\/0044\/2021) on 29 October 2021.
