On August 31, 2018, the district council decided to dispense with avoidable single-use plastic products in the buildings of the district, in the district's own companies and at events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What measures have been implemented since then<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

a)      <\/strong>From the administration?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Answer:<\/strong>
\u2013 Fruit and cereals are offered exclusively in jars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Salads and dressings \u2018to go\u2019 are packed in compostable containers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Coffee cups are also dispensed as compostable containers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 The MKK pitcher is offered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 It is possible to have your own cups filled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 With the exception of candy bars and sandwich packaging, no plastic packaging is used anymore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Salads in the cafeteria are offered in glass bowls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Salads intended for the care of patients are bottled in reusable trays or compostable containers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 There are wooden stirring sticks on the stations<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 For events, reusable tableware or biodegradable tableware (palm leaf, etc.) is used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 All ToGo bowls in the cafeteria are compostable<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note: In the field of medical patient care, disposable packaging cannot be dispensed with for hygienic reasons. If possible, they will be recycled. In some cases, however, these must be used for thermal recovery as part of the hospital waste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since the plastic waste is not weighed, no information can be given on the weight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the administrative sites there are a total of 17 containers with a capacity of 1.1 m3 each, which are emptied monthly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
