A strong signal: The district association of BÜNDNIS 90/DIE GRÜNEN Main-Kinzig continues to grow and will have its 500th anniversary on Thursday. Member welcomed. Fabian Jorda from Hanau is now strengthening the party – a clear sign that more and more people want to commit to a sustainable, fair and future-oriented policy.
"The fact that we are reaching the 500-member mark right now shows that people want change," says Mahwish Iftikhar, direct candidate for constituency 179. “Climate change, social justice and a strong democracy are for many not abstract issues, but the central issues of the future. We stand ready to take responsibility and set the right course.”
Philip Schinkel, direct candidate for constituency 174, also sees this growth as a clear message: “More and more people are getting involved because they know that every voice matters. Young people in particular are crucial for the future of our circle. With 500 members behind us, we show: The Greens are a strong and reliable force.”
With tailwind from the growing membership, the Greens are going decisively into the coming months of the Bundestag election campaign. “We have the power to bring about real change – and we feel that in our party. We stand together, we are motivated and we are fighting for a future worth living," says CEO Anja Zeller.
