“Outfits with a future: Dress sustainably and save microplastics” – with Anna Cavazinni (OV Hanau)

Microplastics are obtained from polyester fibres and impregnation in soils, groundwater, rivers and seas. When shopping, washing, drying and caring for clothing, everyone can help to reduce the amount of microplastics entering the environment.
On this evening, we will talk together about sustainable fashion, see how hazardous chemicals can be detected in textiles and which quality labels each:r can pay attention to.

The environmental pilot Eva von Monschaw from the consumer centre Hessen will accompany us and give valuable practical tips. We are particularly pleased that MEP Anna Cavazzini is also discussing with us and providing insights into current initiatives and regulations at EU level.
