The 50-minute professional documentary was produced in 2021/22 by a student of Justus Liebig University.

presented as a thesis in the Department of Geography and awarded the academic degree Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.).

In his film Till Arnold manages to bridge the gap between the geological origin of the Vogelsberg, the development of today's soil forms

and the use of the resulting water reserves for the increasing demand of the people.

Impressive bird's-eye views show the volcanic region from above.

Various actors inside and outside the Vogelsberg, such as Dr. Hans-Otto Wack and Stefan Zänker, have their say on the Vogelsberg as a volcanic region, National Geopark,

describe the natural space and the place of recreation and point out the hazards.

Afterwards, there is the opportunity to ask questions and exchange ideas with the film author and some interview partners from the film.
