Mahwish Iftikhar from Nidderau new member of the regional board of the Green Hesse – A strong voice from the Main-Kinzig district

Great joy at the GREEN Main-Kinzig: The committed local politician Mahwish Iftikhar from Nidderau was elected to the state board of the Green Hesse at the party congress on 15.03.2025! As an assessor, she will work at the state level for a diverse, fair and future-oriented policy.

“Mahwish stands for lived diversity, social justice and political participation – issues that are essential for our county association. With her election, we now have a strong voice from the Main-Kinzig district on the state board," emphasises Anja Zeller, spokeswoman for the board of the Green Main-Kinzig.

Mahwish Iftikhar has been committed to an inclusive society for many years and is particularly committed to social justice. As a direct candidate for the federal election, she has proven that she combines political conviction with closeness to the people. This experience now brings them to the state board. At the same time, as a young politician, she stands for a generation-appropriate policy and new perspectives on the board of the Green Hesse.
