Green MKK open hot phase of election campaign with its candidates

With the opening of their campaign headquarters in Hanau, the Greens in the Mainz Kinzig district have heralded the hot phase of the election campaign. "There are still 6 weeks to go until the election, we are fighting for every vote", said Viola Haßdenteufel, chair of the green circle association MKK. She presented the green plans for the election campaign and the two direct candidates:

“With Marcus Bocklet, an experienced politician is running for constituency 180 (Hanau). He has been a local councillor, city councillor for many years and is currently a member of the state parliament," Haßdenteufel stressed.

“My priorities are clear. As a trained social politician, I work on social policy. I want a solid social network in this country that catches people in need. There is still a lot to do here. The second topic will be the major challenge of the coming years at all. How do we ensure comprehensive health care? Half of the family doctors are retired, and our hospitals have big financial problems. We Greens have concepts here and I want to play an active role in their implementation", says Bocklet.

For Knut Kiesel, climate protection policy is in the foreground: “I am fully committed to the energy transition. I want to create more incentives so that more renewable energies are generated everywhere, for example through cooperative models. Transport policy must be part of a climate policy. I want to strengthen public transport and mobile networking concepts, only in this way can the permanent reduction of CO2 emissions be achieved.2 Ejected,” Kiesel is sure.

Both advertise at information booths and with events for their choice. Both are supported by the Hessian ministers Tarek Al Wazir, Priska Hinz and Kai Klose as well as Robert Habeck, who will perform today from 11.30 a.m. on the market square in Hanau.

“The mood for change is there, we are optimistic to become part of the new federal government with a good result. Every voice is needed for that. We have to dare more so as not to risk everything", concludes Bocklet and Kiesel.
