Emily Benatzky is the new spokeswoman of the district board of the Green Main-Kinzig. The 19-year-old was unanimously elected at the latest meeting of the district board: "I am pleased about the trust", explains the Gelnhäuserin, who together with Ahmet Cetiner forms the new spokesperson duo of the Greens.
Benatzky has been a member of the district board of the Green Main-Kinzig since last year. At the same time, she is spokesperson for the Green Youth Main-Kinzig: “We are facing exciting times in the Main-Kinzig district. In the context of the state election, she would like to promote a strong Green result in the Main-Kinzig district together with her spokesperson colleague Ahmet Cetiner and her board colleagues: “With our three direct candidates, Robert Erkan, Anja Zeller and Günther Koch, we have experienced politicians who would like to represent our Main-Kinzig district in the upcoming state parliament.”
"We want to become the strongest political group in the Hessian parliament in 2023," says Ahmet Cetiner, spokesman for the district board of the Greens Main-Kinzig. "After a long time without representatives of the Greens from the Main-Kinzig district, we are determined to send at least one of our candidates to the Hessian Parliament. This is a major challenge given the great composition of our current parliamentary group so far, and I look forward to working intensively with Emily and her fresh ideas."
"With Emily Benatzky, we have a young, active Green who can show new perspectives on existing issues," says Viola Haßdenteufel, who had passed on the office of CEO to Benatzky: “On the Greens’ district board, we have two Green Youth members, Tim Koczkowiak and Emily Benatzky. This mixture of young and experienced members is necessary to master the future challenges and to look at decisions from all angles. This is the basis for the continued successful work of the district board.”
