Voters in Linsengericht to be offered a green offer

Invitation to a meeting on Wednesday, August 27 at 7:30 pm in the Schützenhaus Großenhausen

On March 15, 2026, local elections were held. The candidate lists of the parties should probably be submitted to the competent authorities by Christmas. The Greens in Linsengericht are launching a call for candidates and inviting all interested parties to a meeting.

Its chairman Klaus Böttcher describes that the number of current political activists among the Greens in Linsenge-richt is unfortunately not enough to draw up a sufficiently long list of candidates. Local councils are no longer elected, but the current staffing level is not sufficient for the municipality's representation alone.

Since the last election in March 2021, the Greens have been represented by three elected representatives of 27 members of the municipal council.  In order to take into account all the crosses on the ballot papers for the green list, a minimum size of the list of 9 candidates is important. Furthermore, we also need people who are willing to become active as elected representatives over the next 5 years, for example as successors in the municipal representation, in order to possibly compete again in the next municipal election in 2031.

"In times of increasing social conflicts and significant voting shares of right-wing populists, it is particularly important to offer an offer to voters who want to vote for a liberal democracy, increased climate protection and a social-ecological policy, also for Linsengericht on 15 March", emphasises Böttcher.

That is why we are looking for people who want to contribute to this and are considering being available for their own candidacy. What each individual wants to propose to achieve such goals in lentil court and to enforce as far as possible can be discussed in an open discussion about the election program. Everyone can contribute with his/her ideas and priorities.

Therefore, the Green Lens Court together with the district board of the Green Main-Kinzig – who will be present with CEO Anja Zeller – invite you to an open meeting on Wednesday, 27 August 2025 at 7:30 p.m. in the Schützenhaus Großenhausen In der Ecke 35. Further rounds of talks could follow.

Registration for the meeting or willingness to participate – even if you cannot come to the meeting – at the e-mail address klaus-boettcher@hotmail.de The chairman of the Greens in Linsengericht would be pleased. Carpooling from other parts of town to the meeting can be offered.
