A vivid, fair election campaign is the foundation of our democracy. That is why the district association Main-Kinzig of BÜNDNIS 90 / DIE GRÜNEN is committed with full conviction to an open and respectful political debate. In recent days, election posters of various parties have been damaged or removed in many places in the Main-Kinzig district. But we are not discouraged – on the contrary: We stand together for a strong democracy and an election campaign that relies on arguments rather than destruction.
“Democracy means diversity, discussion and respect”, emphasises CEO Anja Zeller. “Our posters are not only symbols of our political messages, but also an expression of fair democratic competition. Destroying them does not harm individual parties, but the open dialogue that makes up our society.”
The Greens in Main-Kinzig are committed to an election campaign that is characterized by objectivity and respect. “We will not be fooled. Our goal is clear: A policy that actively shapes the future. Hatred and vandalism have no place in this", Zeller emphasises. “Our democracy is vibrant, strong and resilient. Let us not be distracted by destructive forces – let us move into the future with confidence and clear ideas!”
