Colourful accessibility: Greens in Hanau get ramp from Lego grandma

A very special ramp was inaugurated in Hanau: ‘Lego grandma’ Rita Ebel handed over a Lego ramp she had built to the offices of the Main-Kinzig district association and the Hanau district association of BÜNDNIS 90/ DIE GRÜNEN. From now on, the Greens can look forward to barrier-free access in colourful Lego bricks!

Anja Zeller, spokeswoman for the Green MKK, was enthusiastic: “With this Lego ramp, we can finally say that our office is accessible to all. This is an important step for us. A huge thank you to the Lego grandma for this wonderful gift!”

Mareike Forchheim, spokeswoman for the local association Hanau, added: “The ramp is not only practical, but also a great symbol of creativity and community. It shows us that we can achieve a lot together – sometimes with very simple means.”
