The district association of the Green Main-Kinzig is satisfied with the result of their candidate Wolfgang Seifried in the mayoral election in Schöneck. He reached 18.23 in the election.% This is above the national and national averages of the Greens in the last two elections.
Seifried, who is known as an environmentally conscious and citizen-oriented politician, was not able to reach the required majority despite a convincing election campaign and clear visions for sustainable community development and reached third place. However, the Green Circle Association praises Seifried's commitment and his great commitment to a future worth living in Schöneck.
"We would like to thank Wolfgang Seifried for his dedicated election campaign. He led a strong and close-to-citizen election campaign in Schöneck. His experience from this campaign will certainly help him to continue to work as Group leader for sustainable development in Schöneck", said Anja Zeller and Thomas Gassen, spokespersons for the Greens Main-Kinzig.
Wolfgang Seifried looks ahead after the election: "I would like to thank my constituents and promise that, as before, I will continue to work with the Green Group for the things that I have also discussed in the election campaign and which, in my opinion, are clearly neglected in Schöneck – first and foremost for local climate protection. My driving force remains the shaping of the ‘future for this world’ that starts for me in Schöneck.’
The Greens in Main-Kinzig would like to thank all supporters, helpers and voters who supported Wolfgang Seifried in the election campaign. Together, they will continue to work for environmental and climate protection, social justice, digitalisation and citizen participation in Schöneck.
