The district board invites you to a get-to-know meeting together with a breakfast in the neighborhood house Tümpelgarten (Am Tümpelgarten 21) in Hanau on Saturday, 14.05.2022, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. one.
Some of you will already know the organisation of the Alliance 90/The Greens-related Senior Citizens, ‘Green Old People’. It has the legal form of a registered association based in Berlin and was founded in 2004 by the then Federal Chairman Reinhard Bütikofer. They are active in 8 federal states and there is also a section of the association in Hesse.
Now the district association wants to initiate its own ‘Grüne Alte’ engagement in Main-Kinzig. Due to demographic change, we will have a completely new social structure in the near future. And especially in our district with its special challenges due to area and urban and rural settlement areas, we must strive for attractive and green concepts for agile and self-determined aging in the district. For example, with new working models, digital and hybrid workplaces, time accounts and smooth transitions between work and pension; generational housing concepts for urban and rural areas, affordable mobility, health programmes and infrastructure and care for senior citizens. etc.
That is why we in the Main-Kinzig-Kreis also need active Green Old People, who appeal to other older people, mobilize them and at the same time stand up for green goals with all generations.
There is a lot to do, be there, discuss and decide with us and come to our get-to-know meeting in Hanau on 14.05. In order to be able to prepare the event well, we ask you to register by Wednesday (11.5.).
